One of the founding families, the Ierna family, are still part of this establishment.  Their wealth of knowledge, and personal family touch contributes to the long-standing success of this restaurant.  Approximately three years ago, the Ierna’s joined forces with the DiMattina family from Melbourne. Over two generations, the DiMattina family have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry. Currently the DiMattina’s run three well-known restaurants in Melbourne.

Mario’s is positioned towards the beach end of The Oasis Shopping Centre, extending out to Broadbeach’s Mall.  Diners can choose to be seated indoors or outdoors in the Mall.  The restaurant seats 400, so the perfect venue for large functions.  Alternatively, food can be ordered from the take-away menu and picked up from the premises.

A wide selection of Italian inspired meals are available, including seafood, steak, pasta, and pizza.  Mario’s is well known for their gourmet pizzas, and also for it’s signature dish, Steak Mario, which is a steak grilled to perfection topped with a Moreton Bay bug, two king prawns and finished with our Chef’s special sauce.

Mario’s is fully licensed.  We are happy to accommodate BYO wine only, with corkage of $4.00 per person.
